These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the products, browser extensions, and websites provided by Sanjaya Thilakabandara, trading as Wisplo, based in Sweden ("Wisplo", "we", "us") — including the Mailwand browser extension and any other Wisplo product (together, the "Services"). By installing or using a Wisplo product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Wisplo builds small productivity tools. Our current product, Mailwand, is a browser extension that lets you save and insert reusable email templates and signatures, use merge fields and shortcuts, and set follow-up reminders within supported webmail services (Gmail, Outlook/Hotmail, and Yahoo Mail). Our tools run locally in your browser; we do not operate a server that stores your content.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Mailwand for your own personal or internal business use. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service except as permitted by applicable law.
Mailwand offers a free plan with limited features and a paid "Pro" subscription that unlocks additional features. Pro is billed monthly or yearly as shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payments for Pro are processed by Dodo Payments, who act as the merchant of record for the transaction. This means Dodo Payments is the seller of record and is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax). Your purchase is also subject to Dodo Payments' terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
You agree not to use Mailwand to send spam, unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or infringing content, or in any way that violates the terms of the email services you use it with, or any applicable law. You are solely responsible for the content of the emails you create and send.
Mailwand works alongside third-party webmail services (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Microsoft, or Yahoo, and we are not responsible for those services or any changes they make that affect Mailwand's functionality.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with future versions of third-party webmail services. This section does not limit any mandatory statutory rights you have as a consumer.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wisplo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
We may update, change, or discontinue features of the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, where appropriate, in the extension's store listing or release notes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you reside, and may have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
